Can I hire a CPCB 4+ DG set?
Tell us that the site needs a CPCB IV+ unit when you enquire and we will allocate against that requirement rather than sending whatever is next in the yard. Where a compliant new-generation set is not the right fit for the duration or the load, we can offer an RECD-fitted alternative that meets the emission-control mandate on the exhaust side. Either way you get the compliance documentation for your filing.
Are your rental gensets CPCB compliant?
We can allocate CPCB-compliant gensets where your site, tender or local pollution-control norms require it — tell us the requirement when you enquire and we'll match a suitable unit, including RECD-fitted options for sites under emission-control mandates.
What is the difference between a CPCB IV+ genset and an RECD retrofit?
A CPCB IV+ genset meets the current emission norms by design — it is a newer engine built to those limits. An RECD (Retrofit Emission Control Device) is fitted to the exhaust of an existing genset to cut particulate matter to compliant levels without replacing the set. For a hire, what usually matters is that the unit on your site satisfies the norm your Pollution Control Committee is enforcing; both routes can do that. Will you provide emission-compliance paperwork for the hired genset?
Yes. Tell us what your site, tender or Pollution Control Committee filing needs and we will hand over the corresponding documentation for the unit we allocate. If you are unsure what applies to your genset size and location, our RECD compliance checker will tell you, or send us the details and we'll confirm.
